Dynamic monthly variety show at The Warehouse Cultural Centre, also showing on TV Malawi.

An experimental project to further raise theatre industry standards in the country, and create a new entertainment show for the Malawian public. Through this project, performers will be encouraged to become more engaged, self-reliant and more confident in instigating new ideas which they can develop and see through to performance stage. Nanzikambe will provide an avenue where artists can freely come and explore their new ideas, new theatre forms and new artistic skills including: acting, directing, scriptwriting, sketches, comic skits, and song4story. The project will be the first of its kind and will be open to all artists who have the passion and commitment to advancing the professionalism and standards of theatre in the country.

Broadly, the projects vision is to:

• Enhance artistic skills of performers, writers and story tellers

• To build on the existing talent and quality of performance by Nanzikambe by developing new techniques such as improvisation, comedy, story development, clown, mime, cabaret, and more - that the actors learn during international training by Nanzikambe.

• Give audiences a new, fresh, dynamic and entertaining show onceamonth at The Warehouse Cultural Centre- this will be a fast and furious two hour extravaganza of short assorted performances - comedies, songs, dances, short dramas.
